About Kelli

Kelli M. Proctor, RNC-MNN, BSN

Kelli works with patients through all phases of their pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care. Kelli has over 25 years of professional experience in OB-GYN., over five years as a clinical triage nurse and has served as clinical nurse manager and Director of women’s services.

Kelli’s passion is to decrease the maternal mortality rate by providing compassionate nursing services.

She knows firsthand what questions and concerns new moms have, and the importance of having someone to turn to throughout this special journey. She says part of her role is to hold a patient’s hand to help them prepare for the next phase. Kelli also loves it when patients return for the second and third child and treat her like a part of their family.

Not only is Kelli a caring and compassionate OB nurse, but she’s always looking for ways to improve on the patients’ experience and outcomes. Kelli helps walk each patient through their concerns by discussing each individual, healthcare preferences, expectations, and needs. This open communication helps patients feel welcomed and assured of the quality care they receive from our highly qualified nursing staff.

Kelli’s Why

Reducing Maternal Mortality!

“According to the CDC 2023 - 4 in 5 pregnancy-related deaths in the U.S. are preventable.”

More than 80% of pregnancy-related deaths were preventable, according to 2017-2019 data from Maternal Mortality Review Committees (MMRCs)

Among pregnancy-related deaths with timing information, 22% of deaths occurred during pregnancy, 25% occurred on the day of delivery or within 7 days after, and 53% occurred between 7 days to 1 year after pregnancy.
